USA Today bestselling author Suzanna Medeiros writes historical romances set in the Regency. She read her first Harlequin novel in elementary school and graduated from Austen in high school. She feels that Pride and Prejudice kick-started her love story with historical romance and Persuasion cemented that passion. 

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love of writing led her to pursue a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. She then earned a Bachelor of Education degree, but graduated at a time when teaching jobs were not available. After working in a number of interesting places, including a federal investigative office, a youth probation office, and the Ontario Fire Department Office, he decided to pursue his first love - writing.

Suzanna is married to her own hero and is the proud mother of twin daughters. She is an outspoken romantic who enjoys spending her days writing love stories.
