When English accountant Daniel Elliott dies in a car accident on a rainy night, his widow, Grace, is filled with sadness... and panic. Daniel was controlling and their marriage without love, but he always took care of Grace's protection.

Or so she thought.

She soon learns that Daniel kept secrets: a pseudonym, ties to the mafia, a list of numbers, a mysterious Florida beach house ... and a girlfriend who looks like Grace.

Swallowing her fear, she flies to Miami to claim the home Daniel left. But the price of your curiosity is dangerous. Underworld figures chase her. The other woman leaves a damning trail of evidence pointing at her. And handsome and troubled FBI agent Jack West has met Grace before. He could be your savior or your condemnation. All she knows for sure is that she wants to be in your arms.

With little to go on and in danger at all times, Grace must depend on Jack to help her roam the criminal world of South Florida and find the truth behind the Ring of Lies.
